Legacy FSD founder Mike Cooper is a third-generation kitchen designer and fabricator. Mike began his food service design career in the 1980’s working with his father, Doug, at Lynndale Stainless (a company that Doug co-founded). Doug had worked in the kitchen fabrication business for 50+ years, even working with his father in the early days of Phoenix-based Designer’s Choice Stainless (DCS). Mike honed his skills during his time with Lynndale Stainless, thanks to a great team of family and friends.
Mike was part of the design team that worked on the old Harrah’s, The Mirage, Treasure Island, and The Venetian. That team successes earned the reputation as the “go to” firm for hospitality, restaurant and bar design, Subsequent projects included the Wynn, Wynn Encore, Palazzo, Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Casino, The Cosmopolitan and City Center, among many other.
So, what’s in a name like Legacy? It’s generations of trained experience in the best restaurant and resort food service designs for some of the world’s most high-profile clients.
